It may be true that New England quarterback Drake Maye is the odds-on favorite to win the NFL MVP this season , but he just won his first AFC offensive player of the week award. Meanwhile, Jordan Love is already on No. 2.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback dazzled in his team's 31-24 victory over Detroit on Thanksgiving, netting him his second NFC offensive player of the week honor this year on Wednesday, Dec. 3.

Love threw for four touchdowns and 234 yards on 18-of-30 passing, good for a 124.2 passer rating. Two of those throws were fourth-down touchdown strikes. It's the fourth player of the week honor in his career and second in six weeks; his Week 8 showing against mentor Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers also merited the honor.
