Now, if you’ve never been up that way, this isn’t just any ODR. The boards and glass were inherited from the Calgary Saddledome and it has beautiful covered and heated benches. Having skated on outdoor rinks all over Alberta, this one is a beauty.

It’s been the site of several unique events, including an outdoor match-up between the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames alumni, the NAIT Ooks and the Grant MacEwan Griffens
