HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Honolulu Prosecuting Attorney said they have secured an indictment against Wilsand Sardinha, 36, for the Thanksgiving Day armed robbery that took place at a sushi restaurant on Ala Moana Blvd.

Sardinha was indicted on two counts of robbery in the first degree, terroristic threatening in the first degree, and kidnapping.

He allegedly entered the restaurant just as it was closing, brandished a firearm at employees, and demanded money, said the prosecuting attorney.

Robbery in the first degree and kidnapping are Class A felonies. Terroristic threatening in the first degree is a Class C felony.

Sardinha was also charged as a persistent and multiple offender.
