HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Polynesian Football Hall of Fame announced the 2026 class on Tuesday morning.
Former University of Hawaii wide receiver and CFL Hall of Famer Chad Owens , veteran NFL tight end Brandon Manumaleuna, plus linebacker and USC standout Rey Maualuga are among the 2026 class.
Owens, a four-year letterman for the Rainbow Warriors from 2001 to 2004, was recently inducted into the UH Sports Circle of Honor in 2025, as well as the Hawaii Sports Hall of Fame and Canadian Football League Hall of Fame.
The inductees were selected from a field of over 100 nominees and eight finalists by the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee.
The Polynesian Football Hall of Fame enshrinement weekend is scheduled for Jan. 16 to 18.
