Suvankar Sen, MD & CEO of Senco Gold , sees a high possibility of gold prices in India climbing towards ₹1,50,000 per 10 grams from ₹1,30,000 now, if global trends stay supportive. He noted that the metal has risen every year so far.
“If gold stabilises at these current levels, like $4,100–4,200 per ounce, then the way it has gone up by 20–25% year on year, that trend will continue,” Sen said. He added there is “a high possibility” that gold in India could move from ₹1,30,000 per 10 grams to around ₹1,50,000 per 10 grams over time.
Sen pointed to expectations of US interest rate cuts and more liquidity in global markets. He said investors may look at gold and silver due to uncertainty in stock markets. “We have to stay bullish with the gold prices and as well the silver prices,” he sai
