Four of the six co-accused from southern Ontario charged in the shooting death of a Toronto man in a M’Chigeeng First Nation home in 2022 have been issued penitentiary terms.
In delivering his separate decisions on Tuesday at the Sudbury Courthouse, Superior Court Justice Robin Tremblay issued identical 12-year sentences to Jeromie Fuller, 24, of Newmarket; Warren Mills, 24, of Brampton; and Jeromie Simon, 24, of Brampton.
The men pleaded guilty on May 21 to manslaughter in the death of Brandan Brooks.
Six men were charged in the shooting death of Brooks, 30, of Toronto. Brooks was shot in the abdomen at Jane Migwans’ Pine Street home on the M’Chigeeng First Nation about 1:20 a.m. April 5, 2022.
He was later pronounced dead at the hospital in Little Current.
