RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The suspect in an August shooting in Sun Valley has been arrested.

On Aug. 16, deputies with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting in the area of W 2nd and Sidehill Drive.

Police found two victims, one who had been riding a motorcycle and was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and a second person who had been hit by gunfire.

The suspect fled the scene before police could arrive.

After a months long investigation, police arrested 27-year-old Christian Esparaza of Reno. Esparza was already in custody at the Washoe County Detention Facility on charges of possessing a stolen motor vehicle.
