Meghan Markle seemingly made a subtle dig towards the Princess of Wales during the Christmas special of her Netflix series. With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration aired on the same day that the King and Queen hosted the German state visit, just hours after the Princess of Wales shared a personal letter with guests attending her annual carol concert on Friday.

Meghan , who is estranged from her father and has made numerous allegations against the royal family since stepping back from royal duties, shared that she loves Christmas trees , advent calendars and Yuletide wreaths. She explained that trees allow you to "really encapsulate your family story, really feel the passage of time and the different chapters of your life through the ornaments."
