WEST LINN, Ore. — Some parents in the West Linn-Wilsonville School District say they feel blindsided — just a few weeks after voters approved a $190 million bond for the district — as the district is now recommending closing multiple schools.
On Tuesday night at Meridian Creek Middle School, families spoke out at a listening session with school officials before a board vote on Dec. 8.
Community members said that the district previously promised not to re-visit the idea of school closures for at least two years.
