TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Concerns rose on Wednesday afternoon following a video circulating social media over a man allegedly armed with a gun near the University of Arizona campus.

On Dec. 3., footage circulated social media of a man allegedly carrying a gun near the campus.

Calls came into the News 4 Tucson newsroom regarding the incident. The University of Arizona Police Department said it is aware of the video circulating online, and has analyzed the footage.

University Police determined the incident happened off campus, and the Tucson Police Department is handling the matter at this time.

University Police said there is no threat to the campus community, and operations are continuing as normal.
