A local senior citizen had her dreams come true Wednesday, Dec. 3, when she experienced a day in the life of a professional, featured artist.

Heather Anderson, the director of Magnolia Trails at Heritage at The Plains at Parish Homestead in Oneonta, said Eileen Crowell, 82, had always dreamed of becoming an artist, or a reporter like Brenda Starr. Magnolia Trails is the specialized memory care unit at the Oneonta-based senior living community, where Crowell lives.
