NEWBURYPORT — Hoping to open up the city’s rail trail to folks dealing with some form of vision impairment, the Newburyport Lions Club will be hosting a ribbon cutting for its new disability assistance beacon program on Monday.
“We are making the Clipper City Rail Trail accessible for people who are blind and low vision. You just download an app from a company called RightHear,” Lions Club Vice President Steve Baran said.
