NEWBURYPORT — Local businesses praised the success of the Newburyport Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Saturday while also looking ahead to upcoming Invitation Nights and Green Ticket initiative.

Over the weekend, businesses throughout downtown saw an uptick in foot traffic as the chamber promoted shopping local, according to owners contacted Monday by The Daily News.
