A retired Cincinnati Police officer is warning about the dangers of slick roads and chain-reaction crashes.

On Saturday, Eric Franz's son Christopher was driving back to Cincinnati for the holidays.
He was on I-70, near Terre Haute, when he got caught in a whiteout wreck involving more than 40 other cars.
Eric, who is a retired Cincinnati Police Officer, got a call no parent wants to receive.
"He called me, and he said, 'I'm going to crash,' and I said, what do you mean you're going to crash? He's like, 'It's white out. There are crashes all over front of me. I can't get around them, and I'm worried somebody is going to hit me from behind,'" Eric recalls, "I hea
