CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - About a dozen homeless people remain living at Scranton Cemetery in Cleveland as temperatures are expected to drop into the teens and single digits Friday, with wind chills potentially below zero.
The tent city sits in the back corner of the cemetery, feet away from snow-covered headstones, where residents say they have formed a close-knit community despite the unusual location.
“It’s actually pretty peaceful over here. We stick together like family,” said D.J., formerly of North Olmsted, who is among those living without shelter.
