COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The countdown to Christmas is on!

Forest Acres rang in the season with cheer, lighting this year’s Christmas tree on Wednesday night.

The annual Sweet Season is hosted each year in the heart of the city, offering free family fun like face painting, balloon animals, and free hot chocolate.

WIS’s own Hannah Burbank hosted Wednesday night’s event while chief meteorologist Adam Clark spent the day asking some hard-hitting questions to someone who may not enjoy the holidays as much.
