Caymus Vineyards to host two-hour program featuring paired dishes and a look at the winery’s history

The Marina del Rey Hotel is set to host a public wine-tasting program on Dec. 17 featuring Caymus Vineyards, the Napa Valley winery known for its Cabernet Sauvignon. The two-hour event, scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m., includes a guided tasting, a three-course meal and a discussion of the winery’s background.

Caymus, founded in 1972 by Chuck Wagner and his parents, Lorna and Charlie, is a multigenerational operation with family ties in Napa Valley dating back to the 19th century. Today Wagner works with two of his children, producing wines from Napa and other regions in California.

Tickets cost $97 before tax and include a welcome pour, wine pairings with dinner and a souvenir. Organizers say
