Officials said the move will allow expanded programming while keeping operations in the heart of the community
The Venice Heritage Museum, which opened its first permanent space earlier this year on Main Street, will move to a new city-owned home in the Westminster Avenue Park community room, with a planned reopening in spring 2026.
Los Angeles City Councilwoman Traci Park, whose 11th District includes Venice, said the relocation is part of ongoing improvements at the park that include new lighting, enhanced security, a resurfaced parking lot and increased programming aimed at boosting safety and public use.
