An employee has asked Reddit for suggestions on how to deal with a late-night WhatsApp rant from their boss, after receiving what they described as an aggressive message on the team’s group chat at 10 pm.

“Is this tone okay from a boss? Would you reply or just absorb it,” read the title of the post shared by the employee on Reddit’s Indian Workplace account.

For context, the employee explained that the team was working on designs for an event with a classy Bollywood theme, but the boss rejected the initial direction and asked for something “Bollywoodish.” Not long after, he sent a message that left the team stunned.
