The Consultative Committee of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER) on Wednesday reviewed the Centre’s flagship development schemes for the Northeast, with Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia asserting that the PM-DevINE initiative is “firmly on track” to meet its 2025–26 targets.
Chairing the meeting, Scindia said PM-DevINE — launched in the 2022–23 Union Budget with an outlay of Rs 6,600 crore — remains the ministry’s most critical intervention for accelerating infrastructure and socio-economic growth in the region.
