New Delhi: Russian President Vladimir Putin arrives in India this evening on his first official visit since the war in Ukraine began. The two-day visit coincides with the 23rd India–Russia Annual Summit, and will involve high-level talks, business engagements, and ceremonial events.

Putin is scheduled to land in New Delhi at around 6:35 PM.

On arrival, he will proceed to the official residence of Narendra Modi (Lok Kalyan Marg) for a private dinner hosted by the Prime Minister — a reciprocation of the hospitality extended by the Russian leader during Modi’s visit to Moscow last year.
