SMITHFIELD – Revive the Roots, 374 Farnum Pike, will host a Community Lantern Walk on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Families, friends, and neighbors are invited to gather for an evening centered on light, hope, and connection with nature – which is especially important during this time of the year when there is so little sunshine, say the event organizers. Attendees will learn easy sing-along songs, make lanterns, drink hot tea or cocoa and enjoy the sunset together. As dusk settles, attendees will embark on a guided walk along the property’s lit-up trails, led by the glow of everyone’s lanterns.
These trails take guests along a fruit tree path, into an illuminated pine forest. This experience is intended to honor the transition from fall to winter by embracing nature, sharing
