CUMBERLAND – The Cumberland Public Library’s Other Worlds Book Club reads science fiction and fantasy titles on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. The next meeting is on Tuesday, Dec. 23, and the club will be reading “Nettle & Bone” by T. Kingfisher.

To save her sister and topple a throne, says the plot synopsis, Marra is offered the tools needed to complete three impossible tasks with the help of a disgraced ex-knight, a reluctant fairy godmother, an enigmatic gravewitch, and her fowl familiar.
