Citizens can now download officially recognised land records for just ₹15, ending long queues, paperwork delay and dependency on Talathi offices.
Maharashtra has taken a major step in its e-governance journey by giving full legal validity to Digital 7/12 extracts, along with 8-A and Ferfar (mutation) records. The Revenue Department has announced that these digital land records will now be accepted across all government, semi-government, banking and court-related work without the need for a Talathi’s(Village Accountant) physical signature or stamp.
