Pune, December 4, 2025: Mundhwa police have rescued three women and arrested 27-year-old Sarah Fiona Nagobi, a Ugandan national, for running a prostitution racket in the city. The operation was carried out at a flat on the fourth floor of Dalvi Heights, a residential complex in Mundhwa.

Police investigations revealed that Nagobi was operating the illegal business with three women from her home country. She had arrived in Pune on a tourist visa, which is now under scrutiny.

The passports of both the accused and the rescued women have been sent to the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRO) for further verification.

The Mundhwa police are continuing a detailed investigation to uncover the full extent of the racket and identify any other individuals involved.
