LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -The Lexington Police Department arrested a teen in connection with an October shooting.

Officers arrested the unnamed 17-year-old Monday, Dec. 1. The shooting on Ward Drive happened on Oct. 29.

Police said the teen was charged with assault in the first degree and minor in possession of a handgun.

The teen is in a juvenile detention center.
