WASHINGTON — The Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens will host an art exhibition titled “Söngskissur: Icelandic Song Sketches” by artist Greta Boesel on view through Sunday, December 14. “Söngskissur: Icelandic Song Sketches,” is a collection of 33 cantographs, or visual representations of songs, rendered in textile work, assemblage, collage and digital media, reflecting Icelandic music from the 14th century to present.
Originally hailing from West Virginia, Ms. Boesel is an artist and musician who currently divides her time between living in San Francisco and Connecticut.
