BENGALURU: A 23-year-old newlywed woman was found dead, allegedly by suicide, at Andarahalli under Byadarahalli police limits on on Wednesday night. The police have taken the husband into custody for questioning.

The incident has sparked allegations of murder by the woman’s parents, who claim that their son-in-law, Abhishek, was abusive and had been suspecting Amulya of infidelity.

Amulya and Abhishek had been in a relationship for several years before getting married three months ago. The couple had an argument over going out for lunch, which is believed to have led to Amulya’s decision to take her own life.
