SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - A few Siouxland communities came close to or broke their record low for this morning. In Spencer, Iowa, the record low set back in 2005 was -9, their new low set this morning is -15. While things will improve as far as air temperatures go, winds will pick up in the afternoon.
Highs today will get into the low 20s under partly cloudy skies.
Lows overnight won’t be as cold tonight, but still chilly in the upper teens.
Friday brings us a chance for flurries in the morning. We then catch a break midday, but another chance for flurries and freezing drizzle moves in for the evening. Temperatures will sit in the low to mid 40s for our highs.
Saturday is still causing a bit of a headache for the weather team. Forecasting models are still not agreeing too much on timing and
