A pedestrian has died just days after a serious crash in North Yorkshire.
Police were called to Railway Street, in Leyburn, last Friday (November 28) after a crash involving a red Range Rover and a pedestrian.
The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following the incident, which took place around 10.10pm by the A684 Harmby Road junction with Yoredale Way.
North Yorkshire Police has today confirmed that the pedestrian has since sadly died. He has been named as Benjamin Robinson, 31, from Leyburn.
A woman in her 70s was previously arrested in connection with the crash and has since been released under investigation.
