Dick's Sporting Goods, which has been a part of the Eastwood Mall Complex in Niles since 2004, will soon have a new home.

Construction has officially begun on a new location for Dick's Sporting Goods in the space formerly occupied by Dillard's in the Eastwood Mall.

The new store will be much bigger than the current location, with the new location being 72,000 square feet compared to the current location's 52,000 square feet.

According to a press release, the new store "completely reimagines" Dick's traditional layout with an evolved selection of sporting gear for baseball, softball, soccer, football, lacrosse and more.
