New Delhi, 4 Dec (UNI) Delhi woke up to another chilly December morning on Thursday with temperatures plunging to 5.6 °C, nearly 4 degrees below normal for this time of the year. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) data, this is the second time within this week that the temperature dropped below 6 degrees, an unusual trend for the month.
Thursday’s minimum temperature was the lowest recorded in the season, with the previous minimum of 5.7°C on the first day of the month. The weather department has said the chill is expected to persist, with the possibility of coldwave conditions in parts of the Capital on December 5.
