Bhopal: On the third day of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly session, Congress legislators, led by Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, staged a strong protest in the Assembly premises against what they described as the anti-people policies of the BJP government.
To register their dissent in a striking manner, the Congress MLAs enacted a symbolic demonstration based on the popular saying “a razor in a monkey’s hand”. Through this act, they sought to convey that the BJP government, having gained control of power, was causing continuous harm to the interests of the people of the State.
