Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Congress president Jitu Patwari on Thursday launched a sharp attack on the BJP government, accusing it of plunging the State into debt while wasting public money on political events and foreign tours. He claimed that the debt burden in Madhya Pradesh has reached Rs 60,000 per capita, with the government allegedly borrowing Rs 165 crore every day even as ordinary citizens struggle to afford basic necessities.
