Residents in a small Kenilworth street were left scratching their heads when dozens of bottles of water were inexplicably left on every single doorstep. People living on Best Avenue in Kenilworth discovered the random delivery on Wednesday afternoon.

With no note or explanation, residents were unsure of what to do, with some reaching out to local water supplier Severn Trent. The Coventry-based company reportedly responded to residents to advise residents not to use the bottled water as its origins were unclear.

They've since confirmed there is definitely no issue with the local water supply and that the bizarre delivery was the result of an error - but from someone working on behalf of a different water company based hundreds of miles away.
