GREENSBORO, N.C. — More than 130 Triad workers will soon need new jobs. Two companies filed WARN notices which notifies the state of its plans.
Precision Concepts International plans to shutting down its facility on South Third Street in Mebane. 59 employees will lose their jobs when the plant closes on Feb. 1, 2026.
10 Roads Express also filed a WARN notice. It plans to close its Greensboro facility on Norwalk Street on February 28, 2026. The shutdown will impact 74 employees. Most of the impacted positions are drivers.
The State Commerce Department received the two WARN notices on Dec. 2. WARN stands for Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification. The notice serves as a 60-day advance warning to employees about a planned mass layoff, plant closing, or major relocation.
