A Strictly Come Dancing star has revealed he found it ‘very challenging’ after ‘very nearly dying’ as he provided a health update.

Robert Webb is best known for starring in the critically acclaimed Channel 4 sitcom alongside David Mitchell, with the pair playing the hapless El Dude Brothers Jez and Mark. Back in 2021, Robert signed up for the BBC dancing competition just over a year after he underwent open heart surgery.

Paired with Australian professional dancer Dianne Buswell, Robert was forced to withdraw from the series which was later won by EastEnders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice. Robert and Dianne only got to dance with each other for four live episodes.
