BLOOMFIELD, Mo. (WSIL) -- Steven Paul Parks was sentenced for firing a gun at a Stoddard County Sheriff's Deputy on Christmas Day last year, according to the Stoddard County Prosecutor's Office on Wednesday.
The incident led to multiple felony charges.
Parks was found guilty of Assault 1st Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Armed Criminal Action, according to court records. Judge Rob Mayer sentenced him to 25 years in prison.
