MANHATTAN — Help is on the way for Kansas State football with several players from its 2026 recruiting class bound to make an impact on the Wildcats as soon as next season.
Chris Klieman and the Wildcats went 6-6 in 2025 after being labeled as a Big 12 contender before the season. They earned bowl eligibility and will learn their destination on Sunday, Dec. 7.
Klieman announced his retirement on Wednesday, Dec. 3, during signing day. All of K-State's previously committed players still signed with the team, and the Wildcats flipped two players from other schools after the announcement.
Here are the players we think could have an immediate impact on the Wildcats in 2026.
