BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Raleigh County Emergency Services will conduct a full-scale disaster exercise at Raleigh General Hospital on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, between 9:55 a.m. and noon, according to a press release from the Raleigh County Emergency Services Authority.

The exercise will take place primarily in the hospital’s Emergency Room and Trauma Center areas.

Drivers in the vicinity may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles, and hospital visitors may encounter exercise participants who will be clearly marked with badges and brightly colored vests.

Officials emphasized that the event is only a routine exercise and that there is no cause for alarm.
