OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An Oak Hill man has been sentenced to more than three years in federal prison for multiple methamphetamine and fentanyl distribution offenses, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday.
John Gray, 40, of Oak Hill, received a sentence of three years and one month, followed by three years of supervised release.
Federal prosecutors said Gray admitted to several drug sales to a confidential informant in 2023 and 2024.
According to court documents, Gray sold about 2 pounds of methamphetamine on March 28, 2023, and another 848 grams on May 1, 2023. He later admitted to selling 3 grams of fentanyl on May 3 and May 6, 2024.
