Evan Hall says it took getting arrested not far from his family home to realize he needed to face his opioid addiction head-on — and be on the road to recovery for the long haul.

The Chatham-Kent man started taking oxycodone around the age of 16. Over the next dozen years or so, he graduated to other opioids like fentanyl.
