TOLEDO, Ohio — After a period of internal review, the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales will redeploy several members next summer to strengthen coordinated ministries in Toledo, including naming a new school president.

The changes take effect in July 2026 and aim to support a more unified mission across the region, St. Francis de Sales announced Wednesday.

Fr. Joe Newman, OSFS, will become president of St. Francis de Sales School on July 1, 2026. He currently serves as provincial superior of the Toledo-Detroit Province.
