TOLEDO, Ohio — The WTOL 11 Gift of Joy sponsored by PNC is back this holiday season to benefit Toledo-area children who are in special need of holiday cheer.

The annual, community-based toy drive provides gifts for children whose families are involved in some way with Lucas County Children Services . Some children live in their family homes, with kinship caregivers or with one of 200-plus licensed foster families across the area.

You can participate and help bring joy to a child by donating a new and unwrapped toy or gift. Gift collection began Nov. 14 and runs through Thursday, Dec. 18.

The drive provides gifts for children from birth to age 18. LCCS is looking for gifts for all age groups, but particularly needs gifts for children of all ethic groups from newborn to 3 years old a
