The National Weather Service issued a report at 12:03 p.m. on Thursday for heavy snow until 12:45 p.m. for Schoharie and Albany counties.
"At 12:03 p.m., a band of heavy snow was along a line extending from 6 miles north of Cobleskill to near Laurens and moving southeast at 35 MPH," explains the weather service.
Locations impacted by the alert include Cobleskill, Jefferson, Berne, Middleburgh, Gilboa, Summit, Schoharie, Richmondville, Sharon Springs, Livingstonville, North Blenheim, Breakabeen, Central Bridge, Sharon, Seward, Zeh Corners, Beekman Corners, West Richmondville, Baird Corners and Huntersland. This includes Interstate 88 between exits 20 and 23.
