WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — An overturned tractor-trailer shut down all southbound lanes of N.C. 52 in Winston-Salem at University Parkway on Thursday, forcing drivers onto University Parkway and causing significant delays, according to police.

No injuries were reported, police said.

Southbound traffic is being rerouted, and motorists are urged to use alternate routes while crews work to clear the scene.
