After moving on from James Franklin in the middle of the 2025 season, the Penn State Nittany Lions are still searching for a new head coach.
Plenty of candidates have been linked as options for the program. Unfortunately for Penn State, most of those options have landed in other situations. The Nittany Lions most recently lost out on rumored top target Kalani Sitake, who opted to stay at BYU rather than making the leap to Penn State.
With that in mind, options are starting to run low for the Nittany Lions.
