Indeed, as fans tuned in to watch Mad Men on HBO Max they were stunned to see some major flaws. One notable scene came from a fan who was tuned into season one’s “Red in The Face” where Roger Sterling ( John Slattery ) threw up in the office.
However, the new version of the series—which centered on 1960s ad executives in New York City—forgets to digitally alter out the person operating the vomit machine, giving viewers an unintentional BTS look at the Emmy-winning series.
“HBOMax has started showing a 'remastered' 4K Mad Men,” one user wrote alongside the screengrab on BlueSky . “And they’ve messed things up so during Roger’s oyster vomit scene you can now see the crew men with the vomit hose on the right.”
