Twenty new recruits, including quarterback Deagan Rose of Clovis High School, are on the way to help Fresno State football.
Head coach Matt Entz announced the 2026 recruiting class Wednesday, college football’s signing day. All are listed as three-star recruits by 247Sports, except for Fresno City transfer Ethan Rossetti — a long snapper from Buchanan High School in Clovis.
The class includes six players from the greater Central Valley and three from Omaha, Nebraska.
In addition to Rose, the Bulldogs landed QB Jacob Chambers from Fontana/Rancho Cucamonga HS.
Rose, a co-conference player of the year, passed for 11,448 yards and 112 touchdowns in his high school career. Chambers passed for 5,480 yards and 58 touchdowns.
The Bulldogs have five quarterbacks on their roster now. E.J. Warne
