WYOMING, Mich. — A new outpatient orthopedic surgery center is coming to the University of Michigan Health-West Village campus.
The groundbreaking ceremony was held on Thursday, Dec. 4, at 3 p.m. at 1980 Metro Court SW in Wyoming.
The surgery center, built in collaboration with the Orthopedic Associates of Michigan (OAM), aims to "expand access to high-quality orthopedic care and modern outpatient surgical services."
There will be eight operating rooms, two procedure rooms, orthopedic urgent care, clinic space, occupational therapy and 23-hour stay capability.
